Our Process
Five steps. No surprises.
A renovation feels calm when it is planned properly. Here is exactly how a project moves from first call to final walkthrough.
How We Work
From first conversation to final walkthrough.
Each step is finished before the next begins, so you always know where your project stands — and what happens next.

Consultation
Every project starts with a conversation in your home. We want to see the space, understand how you live in it, and hear what is and is not working. Just as importantly, we talk candidly about budget — there is no point designing something that does not fit what you want to spend. You will leave this first meeting with a clear sense of whether iDream Reno is the right fit, with no pressure either way.
- An on-site visit and measure
- An honest conversation about scope and budget
- Initial ideas and a realistic price range
- Clear, no-obligation next steps

Design and Quote
Next we turn the conversation into a plan. We develop the layout, help you make selections — cabinetry, tile, fixtures, finishes — and document everything in a detailed scope. The result is a fixed-price quote with clear allowances, so you know what is included and what each choice costs before any work begins. We would rather spend an extra week here than discover a surprise on site.
- Layout and design drawings
- Guided material and finish selections
- A detailed, line-by-line scope of work
- A fixed-price quote with clear allowances

Permits and Planning
Before the first day on site, we prepare permit drawings, submit applications, and book the trades and materials. If your project needs structural engineering or condo board approval, that happens now. We also confirm the schedule and the order of work, and walk you through what to expect week by week. By the time we start, nothing is left to chance.
- Permit drawings and applications
- Structural engineering where required
- Material ordering and trade scheduling
- A week-by-week project schedule

Build
This is where the plan becomes real. Our in-house crew runs the site under one project manager who is your single point of contact throughout. We protect your floors and furnishings, contain dust, and keep the site clean and safe. You get regular updates and never have to wonder who is responsible — because it is always us.
- A dedicated project manager
- In-house trades, not subcontractors
- Dust control and daily site clean-up
- Regular progress updates

Walkthrough and Warranty
Before we call a project done, we walk through it with you in detail, noting anything that needs adjusting. We resolve that punch list completely — done means done. You receive a written two-year labour warranty covering our workmanship, along with manufacturer coverage, care notes, and documentation. And because most of our work comes from referrals, our relationship does not end at handover.
- A detailed final walkthrough
- A fully resolved punch list
- A written two-year labour warranty
- Care notes and project documentation
